Palm Beach Software Design, Inc. provides software consulting service to a variety of client around the country.  I start providing services as a sub-contractor in early February. My primary responsibilities included maintaining current ASP web page and Visual Basic applications and developing new software to meet the client’s needs.  Additionally, I am responsible for meeting with current clients and preparing Scope & Requirements for new projects.

Overview:

Ideal Roofing Systems is a roofing company located in Wellington Florida.  They construct new roofs for most of the major home contractors in South Florida.  In order to improve their workflow and productivity, we created a Visual Basic application (The Dashboard) to allow them to manage their projects on a day to day basis.  The Dashboard provide for a quick and easy view of each active project and its current phase within the production process.  The Dashboard them ties directly into their Intranet site, also developed by us, to provide a full life cycle management system.

 
1/02 – 12/03 Equifax Marketing Services / ROI Network

After 10 months of providing services to ROI Network as a contractor, I accepted a full time position where I continued performing my duties as database administrator and senior developer.  During my employment, I was responsible for all aspects of the administration, design and development of the database.  I was responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s primary campaign management application (ROI Track Mailer).  Furthermore, I was responsible for managing all web sites and new development.  In April of 2003, Equifax Marketing Services (EMS) acquired ROI Network.  During my time with EMS, I designed and developed an administrative web site (admin.emstrack.net) used by the EMS fulfillment manager and department to monitor, track and maintain campaigns produced and deployed by the ROI Network systems.  Additionally, I continued with further development in the campaign management application to integrate EMS systems and processes.

Overview:

ROI Network was founded in March of 2001, and I was retained as the database administrator and senior developer.  During my time with ROI Network, I was responsible for all aspect of database administration, design, and development.  I designed and developed the company’s campaign management application, ROI Track Mailer, which is utilized by the fulfillment department to prepare email campaigns for delivery.  I was responsible for the design and development of the campaign track site, ROI Track, and the corresponding data structures.  Additionally, I developed an application utilized by the sales force to query the database.  Furthermore, I was responsible for development and management of all corporate web sites.

Overview:

I was initially retained to convert several existing web from Peal/CGI scripts to asp.  Upon completion of that assignment I assumed the additional roles of the database administrator and lead developer.  During my time with Opt-In-Inc, I designed and developed:

·         The database using SQL Server 7.

·         The campaign management system used by the fulfillment department to prepare and deploy email campaigns.

·         A campaign tracking system (Opt Track) used to capture clicks and opens from individual mailings and report those results to management and customers.

·         A web application used by the sales force to assemble a SQL statement to query the database and provide a result.

·         The main internet site, OptInInc.com

·         Several ancillary web sites used for property management.

Overview:

·         Responsible for maintenance and new development of the company’s customer Internet site (CyberFlex). 

·         Designed and developed additional functionality within the company’s customer Internet site and database to support the needs of their customer, Lincoln Properties.  Additions included:

o        DB structure and web pages to enter and track all equipment located within the various properties that were managed.

o        DB structure to track the maintenance schedules and actions performed for the equipment.

o        Designed and developed a problem escalation process used by the property managers to ensure that maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner.

·         Designed and developed the company’s Business Development Automotive Group (BDAG) web site, which provides customer relationship management services to automotive dealerships throughout the USA.

Overview:

·         Developed a corporate intranet site and accompanying database.  The system was responsible for tracking all customers, sales persons, products, warranties, and promotional items.

·         Converted existing DB2 database to a SQL Server 7 data structure.

Trade Estimating System

Overview:

Developed a Trade Estimating System to track trading gains and losses.  Utilizing a Microsoft Internet Explorer ASP client interface and SQL Server 7 backend database, the system permits a user to enter trades, produce reports, and generate invoices.

Vendor File Processing (VFP)

Overview:

Developed an automated application to import and process a vendor trade file.  Utilizing a Microsoft Access 97 interface and VBA, the client is able to select the appropriate vendor trade file and initiate processing, monitor processing status, and generate trade reports.

Project:

Mutual Fund Trade Processing System

Overview:

Developed an automated trade processing system responsible for receiving mutual fund and money market trades via corporate e-mail system, verifying trade requests, and posting to the Series 11 Trustware system.  Developed a client interface for the Trading Department utilizing Microsoft Access 97 and VBA.  The interface provided the ability to generate trade reports, monitor trading status, and maintain crucial database information.

·         Responsible for providing telephone support for 2,500 end users at corporate headquarters and remote sites on Windows NT and Novell network platforms.
